Pros: Nice big combination of three rooms with a balcony that overlooks a backyard. Kitchen with microwave, refrigerator, sink. Lots of closet space. Cons: There is an odor that comes up through the bath drains in the morning. A/C didn't work and there was no ventilation fan in the bathroom. Some of the front desk staff was surly.
We had a huge problem with our first hotel. Another one in their chain near central. It was nothing that we were told it was. But Corazón Mexicano quickly stepped up to save the day. They moved our group of 8 to their hotel with excelente rooms. And they gave us the same room rates. They service was excelente. The only small negative was we were not near Centro..But it all worked out wonderfully. We would stay there again
This is a nice hotel in Guanajuato. If you want to stay in a affordable place, where you can walk from to all places in the center if are use to continously walk, you will enjoy a lot and they can offer 3 tour to places in Guanajuato (low cost prices). They have a fridge, a microwave and a place where you can wass your dishes. They have a near Soriana (market) where you can buy food for microwave and really saving your money.
Stayed here a couples and I was very satisfied with the price, service and location to down town. They offer free breakfast which is good but simple. The only two problems I encountered was the parking situation and location. I drove around the hotel and could not find it. It is best to call the front desk ahead and give them arrival time so that they could pick you up at San Javier Plaza in case you are driving here. They have shuttle service from here to the hotel. You do have to walk for about 10 minutes to go to down town to teatro Juárez. Make sure you have a good pair of walking shoes.
Wonderful hotel and great price. Enjoyed our stay here and was close to tourist locations by taxi or Uber. Not in downtown but perfect for those peaceful nights.
The hotel is very amazing, the food is traditional and the room and the hotel is very clean. Excelent for a night perfect.
Clean and modern, what this hotel lacks in character it makes up for in convenience. If you are attending an event at La Toscana, it is just 2 min across the road. There is also a 24hr grocery store, laundry shop, pharmacy and taqueria in the same strip mall. The hotel is outside the main town, but Guanajuato is small so an Uber/taxi ride into Centro is about 10min and cheap. There are fridges and microwave ovens in each room if you like snacking on your own, but if you are a business traveler, be aware that the WiFi is extremely slow and unreliable unless you are sitting in the lobby or small business center.
The rooms are good, cleanness is also good and the food is also good. What I didn't like is the parking lot and the external facade. They should improve it. It is a good balance between money and quality.
